Arizona Pool Water Recycling is a division of Ward's Pool Service and Supply, Inc. Since 2002, Ward's has been providing pool service and repairs to the Phoenix Metro and East Valley areas. Steven Ward, owner, believes in providing the best to his customers through continued education. Because of this, he received his contractors license with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC#229415), his CPO (Certified Pool Operator) through the NSPF (National Swimming Pool Foundation), and CPR certification (updated every 2 years). Steve served as President of the East Valley IPSSA chapter for four years after serving two years as the Vice President. IPSSA (Independent Pool and Spa Service Association) is a professional organization in which members receive ongoing education as well as support through relationships with vendors and other pool industry professionals. Steve has since joined United Pool Association (UPA) which is a leading competitor to IPSSA. Ward's Pool Service and Supply, Inc. employs Tim Tjepkema. Tim is also CPO certified as well as a member of UPA. Our company offers over 30 years of combined pool industry experience and knowledge to our customers.
Water conservation is a continually growing concern in Arizona. With swimming pools requiring to be drained every two years due to high calcium, total dissolved solids and other hardness minerals, Steve knew that there had to be a better process for refreshing the water other than draining a pool. In 2014, he began researching methods to remove these solids from the water without draining it. He found a company in California who manufactures mobile filtration units, Pure Water Industries.
After meeting with the owner of Pure Water Industries and experiencing how the Puripool™ Process could safely and effectively remove solids from water without draining it, Steve decided to form Arizona Pool Water Recycling and offer the Puripool™ Process to pool owners in Arizona.
