What is the Puripool™ Process?
The Puripool™ Process was invented in 2009 with the belief that draining a swimming pool must be a thing of the past. Water conservation, less chemical demand and a swimming pool that is cleaner, safer and healthier for you and your family; all the benefits of maintaining your investment with Arizona Pool Water Recycling. The current drought conditions and emphasis on water conservation has served to solidify the need for systems that conserve large quantities of water, and “The Puripool™ Process” has been leading the way since 2009.
As pool water evaporates and time passes, your relaxing, inviting swimming pool becomes more work to maintain and the water becomes less sanitary. Why hassle with pumping the water from your pool, paying for the refill and then trying to figure out the complicated chemicals needed to re-balance your pool water, when Arizona Pool Water Recycling can take care of it for you? In less than a day, we will filter your water and lower Calcium Hardness (CH), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Cyanuric Acid (CYA), phosphates, salt, bacteria, viruses, etc. We will give you back a clean, healthy pool; all while conserving nearly 85% of your existing water. Your pool will be as pure as if you had filled it with bottled drinking water! |

On your service day, we will:
You are left with a pool filled with fresh, filtered water so pure that you could drink it!
On your service day, we will:
- Test the Water - Your pool water is tested for Calcium Hardness, TDS, PH, Chlorine, Alkalinity, Phosphates, Cyanuric Acid, and Salinity. The results (before and after) are logged on a Chemical Analysis Sheet, which you will be given a copy of after the process is complete.
- Set Up - Hoses will run from the trailer to the pool for suction and return. On the end of the suction hose, Virginia Graeme Baker (VGBA) compliant fittings are used for your safety so the pool can be used while the water is being processed. Two garden hoses are used as well. One hose supplies water to replenish the small amount of the water lost in the filtering process (approx. 15%). This hose goes from your house to the trailer where it is processed before returning to your pool. The second hose is for waste, to get rid of those unwanted solids. This hose goes from the trailer to your sewer line.
- Start Up - Calculations are made based on your TDS and Calcium Hardness to determine the set points and run time. Our water processing units are self-contained. We will bring our own power and supplies, and in return will leave you with water that is far superior to a drain and refill.
- Monitoring and Processing - The computer in the unit is linked to the technician's cell phone, notifying them of any interruptions, when the set points are met, and the process is complete.
- Filtering - The water in your pool is processed through our proprietary multi-stage filtration system, removing all of the impurities and Total Dissolved Solids. The process takes approximately 10 hours per 20,000 gallons.
- Completing the Process - Once the set points are met and all of the water in your pool has been restored to better than bottled water purity, the process is complete! The system will then shut down automatically. Our technician will return to retest the pool water and pick up the unit.
